Favote - Hackathon

Hi everyone! This is a blog about the Favote facebook application that my team (farEast) created for the Hackathon.

Our Team members consist of Bonnie(Bokyung) Kim, On Jung, James Choi and Kay Kwon!
After 24 hours of non-stop coding and eating, this is what we have come up with!

Favote is a voting application for Facebook.
This application takes in various types for the choices rather than the usual text only choices.
It will takes in images, videos, texts and last but the BEST! you have have your facebook friends to be your choices!!! We have not yet implemented to support all the types yet, but this was our original plan. With Favote, you can use the application at facebook page, groups, or profile for election, or even for just networking purposes!
Wouldn't it be cool to have to your friend's or even your profile picture pop up beside the radio buttons!!?!

The Person A will create a vote page. On that page, person A will specify the title, and the choices. For each choices you will be able to select type, and corresponding data. For example, for images and videos, you will be able to type in the urls, for your friends, you will have a panel popping up where you can select the friends to be up on the poll( this has not yet been implemented :p)
You can have any many choices as possible, but as little as one!

When the page has been created, a folder with xml file containing all the information about the page will be created. Everytime somone votes, the xml file will be updated as well as the result.data file which contains information about the voted users. This file can later be useful as to get information about who vote for what/whom and stuff.
